The short version
We collect only what you choose to give us, we use standard tools to understand how the site is used, and we never sell your information to anyone. Questions about anything on this page can go straight to the Grand Secretary at secretary@mwphglde.org.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact or donation inquiry forms, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and message. Those submissions are delivered to the Grand Secretary and kept on file with Wix, the platform that hosts this website, so the Grand Lodge has a record of your correspondence. We use them for one reason: to read and respond to what you sent us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand our visitors: which pages people read, what devices they use, and roughly where traffic comes from. Two services do this work:
Google Analytics measures overall site traffic using cookies. You can read Google’s privacy policy or install their opt-out browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity helps us see how visitors interact with pages, from where people scroll to what they click, including anonymized session replays. Clarity masks the text you type by default. You can read Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.
You can also limit or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising on this site. We do not share what you send us with anyone outside the Grand Lodge, except the service providers named on this page who make the website itself work.
Third-party services and links
This site is hosted on Wix, which processes form submissions and serves our videos, and our typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts. Pages on this site also link out to services we don’t operate, including Facebook, Instagram, and CashApp. Once you follow one of those links, that company’s own privacy practices apply, not ours.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
If you’d like a copy of what you’ve submitted through our forms, or want it deleted, email the Grand Secretary at secretary@mwphglde.org and we’ll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, for example if we add a new tool to the site, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
