Sunday, June 28 · Day Three
Divine Worship, Installation & Fellowship
The Communication concluded on Sunday. The brethren and their families gathered that morning for our Divine Worship service, followed by the Installation of the newly elected Grand Lodge Officers and a barbecue in fellowship to close out the weekend.

In solemn ceremony, the newly elected officers of the Grand Lodge were installed for the ensuing Masonic year, led by Most Worshipful Vandrick R. Hamlin Jr., the 32nd Grand Master.

Welcoming Our Visitors
The Session resumed Saturday morning as we received our visiting Grand Lodges and Allied Delaware Bodies, each delegation called by name and welcomed by the Craft.

A Solemn Remembrance
In Loving Memory
On the evening of Friday, June 26, the brethren gathered in solemn ceremony to remember our dearly departed: the Brothers who have laid down their working tools and passed to the Celestial Lodge above, and, with them, all of our loved ones who have gone on before us.
We light these candles in their honor: for lives well lived, for labors faithfully ended, and for the memory that endures in every heart that holds them. Though they have passed beyond our sight, their light shines on within us still.
May they rest in peace, and may their memory forever be a blessing.

The 177th Annual Communication
Each year, the brethren of the Jurisdiction gather for our Annual Communication, the staple gathering of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware. It is a weekend of fellowship, business, and ceremony, when lodges from across the First State come together as one. We are honored to welcome our visiting Brothers and guests.

From the golf course on Thursday to the closing gavel on Sunday, the Grand Lodge Session weekend brings the Jurisdiction together for service, fellowship, and celebration.

Marvin I. Gray Scholarship Golf Fundraiser
The weekend opened with a beautiful day on the course at Mapledale Country Club. Held in honor of Most Worshipful Past Grand Master Marvin I. Gray, the tournament supports our scholarship and charitable programs. Our heartfelt thanks to every golfer, sponsor, and volunteer.

After Saturday’s labors, the brethren and guests gathered for an old-school 80’s & 90’s hip-hop day party with Delaware’s own DJ Philly Phil, an afternoon of music, memories, and good fellowship to round out the weekend of the 177th Annual Communication.
