Masonry is the world's first and largest fraternal organization. Prince Hall Masonry is the Grandfather of all African American Fraternal and Maternal organizations in the United States. We expound a system of ethics based on the belief that each man is responsible to improve himself through a devotion to his family, faith, country, and fraternity. A belief and respect for all religious, ethnic, geopolitical, cultural, social, and educational differences. We recognize the opinions of others and strive to improve and develop as human beings.

A belief that the continuous pursuit of knowledge, ethics, spirituality, and leadership brings more meaning to our lives. We believe that change begins within and without.

A belief that only we can change our communities through charitable giving, community service, and volunteerism. We believe that we must be serve as an example for community growth.

A belief that as better husbands, parents, and family members we protect the foundation of our community and society. We believe that our obligation to family extends to widows and orphans.

A belief that values the liberties outlined in the U.S. Constitution that promotes freedom of speech and expression, freedom to worship a Supreme Being in an individual way, and other important civil liberties. We believe it is our duty to vote in public elections and to exercise all of our liberties within due and proper bounds.
